Hungry Valley SVRA

Hungry Valley SVRA Training Area

July, 2004

The Sluice Box Course is a long trail of boulders that will challenge you to ride slow and steady. The course is lined with even larger boulders that threaten the sides of your rig, forcing you to stay focused. The course is not that long and there are a couple of points where you could exit out one of the sides. You should have adequate oil pan protection before you tackle this obstacle.

There is a hill climb practice area with an easy and extreme option. The easy option is a strip of rock obstacles that are cemented in place that provides a good learning experience for novice drivers and stock rigs. The extreme rock course is not intended for the novice or moderately built rigs. It consists of large rocks and boulders and I have seen a number of rigs fall short, get stuck, and/or break parts while trying to reach the top.
