The Cure for Tummy Tucker Hot Foot

September, 2005

So, does it work? Yes it does. I can drive comfortably again. I drove across the desert from Texas to California in sock feet. I think the Jeep is a bit quieter, too, but most of the noise in the Jeep is wind noise and this does not affect that.

Did you notice that I burried my drain plugs. The Jeep has gotten wet... Really wet. The water pooled on the Koolmat and was easy to mop up and dry off. The mat and the RTV sealant are water tight. I am fortunate to be able to keep my Jeep in the garage when it isn't on the trail, so I have no compelling reason to access the drain plugs any longer.
