Taurus Electric Fan
Ditching the Mechanical Fan
I used the wiring harness from DC Control which comes with a temperature sensor. The sensor needs to be shoved into the fins on the radiator, but that has to be done later. First the radiator goes back in the Jeep. Then the new fan. Leave more lead on the temp probe than shown in the picture. You have to shove the sensor into the radiator fins.
I over estimated the length of the wire leads I needed to get from the fan motor to the control and got everything connected and into a plastic sleeve now. Because I am using the DC Control unit, I only needed the high speed lead on the fan, and the ground of course. In my case the high speed wire is the yellow wire.
